About US Rep. Veronica Escobar

Escobar is the former county judge for the El Paso County Court in Texas. She resigned in order to run for Congress in 2018. Before serving as county judge in El Paso, Texas, Veronica Escobar earned a master's degree in English Literature from New York University and taught Chicano literature at the University of Texas at El Paso. She entered Congress on January 3, 2019.
