About Rep. Ed Thompson

Having moved to Pearland 30 years ago and serving as the community’s local State Farm Insurance agent, Ed Thompson has a record civic participation; having served as Mayor Pro-Tem of Pearland, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and President of the Economic Development Corporation, as well as serving on the Pearland ISD board of trustees.  A devoted husband and father, he graduated the University of Houston with a BBA in finance and currently attends Sagemont Church.
